Join Archbishop Stephen Cottrell for Eucharist at Whalley Abbey

Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell

All are invited to celebrate an open air Eucharist at Whalley Abbey on Friday 27th May at 7:30pm with Archbishop Stephen Cottrell. This will be a chance for the Diocesan family and friends to meet and celebrate together in this historic place of worship. Please bring a folding chair or blanket or something to sit on. More details will be published in the coming weeks, but make a date in your diary now and let the walls of Whalley Abbey once again echo with song, prayer and fellowship.

Parking in the Abbey Grounds will be for Blue Badge Holders only (please email office@whalleyabbey.org to book and provide your blue badge details).

Coaches and minibuses can drop off at the Whalley Bus station and it’s a 300m walk down Church Lane to the Abbey. The vehicles can park at the Eagle at Barrow and return to the bus station for collection at 9pm.
