Jewels of Creation

We are God’s treasure. We will unearth our own treasures by making our own ‘jewellery’ while exploring the treasures of nature at Whalley Abbey. This an experiential retreat for Christians and explorers. We will use copper metal, hammers, things we find in nature and maybe a bit of fire.

Sue Martyr has been involved in church ministry for thirty years, has led a small missional community on a social housing estate, has completed the CMS Pioneer Leadership course in Oxford and is an experienced facilitator. Sue has a degree in Silversmithing and Jewellery Design and loves playing and contemplating in nature.
